From the seven finalists teams, three teams were selected to move to FUSE: collaboration residencies at the Montalvo Center for the Arts in 2009 -2010. During residency the finalist teams will develop their ideas for Climate Clock into a site-specific proposals using the resource and agency of Silicon Valley’s academic, cultural and technology sectors. These partnerships with Bay Area universities, arts organizations and corporations, facilitated by FUSE: cadre/montalvo artist research residency initiative, will foster and inform the proposals bringing the most current and relevant ideas and technologies around cultural production, and the sciences of climate change to the design of Climate Clock. The proposals will be presented at the 3rd Biennial ZERO1 San Jose Global Festival of art on the Edge in 2010.
